Best moment of the week so far: Get Lucky comes on the radio during breakfast, Small says “Pharrell has a great face” just as Dad walks in.

I saw the first episode over the weekend and I was kind of disappointed as well. It seemed too disconnected, and without enough dialogue to get a sense of any of the characters.

I think the only character the lack of dialogue is really working for is the killer? Because… He’s supposed to be creepy and scary, and it’s working. Everyone else is… Idk, it’s a lot weaker than it ought to be I think.

Okay I’m offskie for tonight but will hopefully maybe be on tomorrow? Idk

Praying for a new laptop next week okay cool okay 

Also praying for Small’s Confirmation to end better than her Holy Communion (she broke her ankle on the bouncy castle at the end of the day :S)

But also super duper slow moving. I mean, whatever, it’s gritty and all (although given it’s set in Belfast, it could feasibly be grittier?), but oh my Goddddd speed up please

Idk like there are only going to be what, five eps? And two have aired thus far? And idk I’m pretty unimpressed tbh :S

Awwww, that’s too bad. I’ll probably check it out at least for one episode, but that sounds pretty disappointing. Dornaaaaaan, do something gooood. Where they don’t kill you off before the middle of the first season.

Oh warning for gratuitous and weirdly framed sex scene starring Gillian Anderson at the start of ep two that seemed to have nothing to do with anything, really, and made watching it with my folks super awkward.

It was prob RTÉ’s fault tbh it was the start of the most recent season of Love/Hate all over again ugh

All I want to know is who Michael McElhatton plays in that show. Because I know he’s in it, and I just want to know if he’s a bad guy.

He was only in it a bit but I think he’s a (potentially) dirty cop who’s doing a nixer as security for Ian McThingy what plays Barristan the Babe’s son, who is a junkie and who’s ex-wife was murdered (presumably by Jamie Dornan) and who is setting up weird sort-of-prostitute fueled business deals with Russian people who are probably Mafiya.

Like I said, it’s super slow moving and has like a bunch of small sideplots that don’t seem really relevant? Idk.
